AEM, manufacturers, and dealers hosted a demonstration event for members of the New Hampshire Farm Bureau on Tuesday, November 27 at North Country Tractor in Pembroke, NH. More than 30 farmers from across New Hampshire attended.
During the event, attendees learned about the industry commitment (www.r2rsolutions.org) to provide diagnostic and repair tools and information by 2021, and why this commitment makes Right to Repair legislation unnecessary.
Technical experts demonstrated existing repair technology, and showed attendees how to use the diagnostic tool to identify issues with the machine. They also discussed the damage caused by tampering with federally-mandated safety and emissions controls. They then simulated some of the most common problems farmers have with their machines, and how to fix them on different types of equipment.
Participants were given time to ask specific questions of OEM reps and dealers.
The equipment industry is committed to meeting the needs of its customers. Manufacturers, dealers, and customers have a shared incentive to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. We are planning additional demonstrations throughout the country in 2019. Contact us (email@example.com) to learn more.
